Sanchi Foundation and Sanchaya are sister organisations preserving Karnataka's cultural and literary heritage through technology — freely and forever.
India's grassroots cultural archiver, working since 2014. Sanchi documents live performances — Carnatic, Hindustani, Yakshagana, Theatre — and makes them freely accessible. Its mission: ensure every performance staged, every raga sung, every lecture delivered leaves a permanent digital trace.
Kannada's digital infrastructure builders, working since 2010. Sanchaya digitises literature, builds language-technology tools, revives historical typefaces, and creates open-access portals — ensuring Kannada thrives in the digital age for students, researchers, and the diaspora alike.
Each year expanded scope, deepened partnerships, and grew the open-access archive.
